For the launch of the site, I’m going to be doing Splinter Cell from the Original Xbox. This is going to be played using the 360. Splinter Cell was the first stealth game that I played and the funny part is that my brother was the one who wanted it for Christmas 2002 (The game that I wanted was Hunter the Reconning). So, I found out quickly that I was pretty damn good at playing it, so good that I was able to beat the game before my brother did (Mostly for the fact that he gave up about 80% in.). You could call it a trade off as I got stuck with the final boss on Hunter the Reconning that my brother figured out while I beat Splinter Cell.
Besides my fond history of this game, Splinter Cell was released exclusively to the Xbox in November 2002 and later to other consoles starting 2003. Developed by Ubisoft, this follows protagonist Sam Fisher as he’s starting his entry and first assignment with Third Echelon. His mission starts him off going to Georgia to find two missing agents and gather information on their findings. This leads Sam to other parts of the world as he uncovers the dark secrets of the newly established Georgian President – Kombayn Nikoladze.
So, I hope that you will enjoy this journey with me as we discover how far the conspiracy goes!
